excellent sound, a bit of more power would be very nice [Posted on 2005-09-29] Excellent sound, extremely easy tu use due to the control aside from the speakers, great lookink, the in-line in the control make it a very flexible speakers, not only for your computer. Wished a bit of more power but keaping in mind that are speakers for your desk an not for party are loud enough.
Great small speakers. [Posted on 2005-10-04] Im very impressed with these speakers. They have great sound, they are small, and they weren't very expensive. I wouldn't recommend them for big rooms, more small bedrooms. In my opinion, they sound great. I would have liked the tower speaker cords to be a little longer so that i could experiment with them a little more (see if they sounded better spaced throughout my room) but I don't really care. I had never seen speakers like the ones in the tower before, so i really was impressed with them.
For sure I would buy them again if i had the choice. In fact, just because i like speakers and a lot of surround sound, plus some more bass, Im thinking of buying another set. My ears aren't sensitive to hear tiny differences in sound quality, so sorry if you hear them and hate the speakers.
Excellent [Posted on 2005-12-14] I bought these speakers to upgrade from my I-Trigue 3300's. Big difference. Much richer tones, and just overall much better sound. As many people said they do need to be broken in. Mine are still not yet completely broken in yet they still sound fantastic! I am going to be replacing my ancient Soundblaster Live Value sound card with a new X-Fi soon and I'm looking forward to seeing how these speakers will sound when paired with that hardware.
Great sound, good looks, a little quirky [Posted on 2005-12-31] I tried out several sets of computer speakers before I brought these home. As soon as I turned them on, I knew they were the right ones for me. In my opinion the sound is fantastic, and I really like the look of these too. The only thing I don't like about them is the controls are not on the speakers, but on a little hockey puck thing that sits on your desk, so there is one more cord to deal with and one more bit of clutter on your desk. Also, because it sits flat on your desk the on/off/volume knob obscures the power light (so you can't tell if they're on or not) and you can't tell where the knob is set. These are minor quibbles though...overall I love these and if not for the quibbles would give them 5 out of 5 stars.
P.S. I knew I made the right choice when my girlfriend walked in and said, "Wow, those speakers sound great...are they new?" Score.
BEST SPEAKERS IVE EVER HERD!! [Posted on 2006-04-10] I bought these for gaming and they over exceeded my expectations. They have great HIGHS, MIDS, and LOWS. The Bass really kicks and is LOUD, VERY LOUD and clear. I would recommend it for anyone.
