Customer Reviews:

BRoke before a year was out [Posted on 2008-05-30]
Well first off although I love it becuase it's compatible with Napster (can't say enough about Napster)! It was a little buggy and hard to manage sometimes, but once I got the music on I was happy. Beautiful screeen, easy navigation.

Then I dropped it and it broke. I dropped it pretty hard, I have to admit, so I wouldn't necessarily be giving it a 1 star for breaking under those circumstances. What's really annoying is that the price has nearly doubled since I purchased it. Don't these people know that items like this tend to decrease in price? Why would it double - and now it's not even remotely competitive with comperable players.

When I paid nearly $400 for it, I would have said it was a good player if buggy, but also it's bigger and more difficult to carry which was why it wasn't in my pocket and I dropped it to begin with. But irregardless, being compatible with Napster made that high price worth it.

At this price, don't even consider it!!! I can't emphasize that enough!!!

Creative Zen W 60 GB [Posted on 2008-05-31]
Creative Zen Vision W 60 GB Widescreen Multimedia Player (Black)I recieved this for my birthday almost 1 year ago. After sending the first one back, it locked up. I recieved a new one right away. The Zen Vision W is used 3 to 4 times a week, mostly watching movies. It works great, easy to use software, easy to load or delete. The picture is very good, much better than Ipod, which some other people have. I take care of it , but it is in a rough environment (work) and I haven't had any problems. Just ordered a heavy duty leather case, and JBL speakers. When we have standby time on the job, people like to share the videos.

Warranty no good, Creative no longer makes this player [Posted on 2008-07-13]
I love this player. But break it and you are SOL. Creative no longer makes this, and that means your warranty is meaningless. I had one for under a year, and the headphone jack stopped working properly. So I sent in the to get it fixed. That took some time, figuring out the website to send it in. And dealing with the Creative people, OMG. I am still in the middle of trying to get some sort of satisfaction from them. They won't fix/replace it with what I bought, but they offered me two Vision M 30 GB. I refused, I do not like the M at all. If you have the player, already, great I loved it, the best player I found, but pricey. I kept a 5 rating for the player itself,(when working) and I give the Creative customer support the lowest rating. If you sell a product, with a warranty, back it up....fix it or replace it with a equal product, not something much, much less in quality. (MY OPINION)

Warning [Posted on 2008-08-13]
I bought this player a year ago, recently the screen got cracked. Creative will not repair. I was told to go to the online store and buy another one, yeah right. Buy an IPod, at least they can fix what they sell.

Quite a behemoth [Posted on 2008-11-10]
I bought this after my 30 GB Zen Vision was stolen from my car. I figured I'd go for the 60 gig version because my music collection has been growing drastically recently. When I received this the first thing i thought was "Wow, this is huge!" Its seems like its twice as thick as my previous one and it is longer (due to the wide screen). It didn't matter to me because I wont be walking around with it in my pocket too much.

The key reason I bought the Zen Vision is because of the A/V out cable. I can connect it to my car's in-dash DVD player (Alpine IVA-W200) and have it show up on the screen. For some reason this version of the Zen only shows up in half the resolution (it does take up the entire screen like my older model did). This makes it alot harder to see the writing of what song is playing and such.

Overall it seems to not freeze as much as my older version although the older version hardly ever froze. If your not looking for an ultra portable MP3 player this one is really nice. It has a good bunch of features also.
