being a collector of old phones this one fits right in so i can pick up my messages with the push buttons. heavy enough to give that real feeling with a great ring. so far, i'm very please with it.

Unlike what the other reviews say, the buttons on my phone do not stick and work perfectly. The ring is not at all loud and has such a beautiful sound to it. The sound reminds me of old black and white movies. Best of all, it is heavy, is superior quality and looks so great. It is a flat black color so it does not show smudges or fingerprints. I love this phone. It is great in emergencies if the power is out and your cordless is not working. Would highly recommend it.

I bought this phone for my 1923 California bungalow, to put in the phone nook in the hall. Fits the bill perfectly. The dimensions are good (another reproduction was too deep) and it even sounds like a period phone. My only minor complaint is that the item photo shows an old fashioned straight cord from the receiver to the base, and mine came with the more modern curly cord.
