To pay what I paid, it is a very nice product. I bought for my daughter for Christmas. I know she'll have a fit. It sounds nice to me. A subwoofer in the back. It has some bump to it. Not a bad product at all. I would listen to my IPod with it. Which btw, it does come with an adapter to hook up any mp3 player with it. This stand is also for the mix and max. Hope this helps someone!

Tho I love the Mix Max player and this speaker is a nice match, mine seems to be very poor quality. The lights come on but do not blink with the music as designed. The sound quality is very tinny and soft. The "subwoofer" on the back of the unit is just sitting there with it's cardboard exterior exposed. I don't think the speaker on the back will last long with children(or frazzled parents) handling it. It's hard to access the buttons on the mix max player while it is connected because the connection site is not very stable, that makes the player unit kinda floppy when you push the buttons. It is small and cute. I think young children maybe ages 3-6 would be happy with it, but it will not withstand rough handling and the sound quality is just too low in my opinion.
