This tool does a great job of sharpening serrated knife edges. It's not as fast as a diamond tool, but it creates a finer edge, and leaves the work area with a mirror shine. Great for touching up your serrated blades, or even for giving a factory edge a little extra. The company also makes this tool available with diamond abrasive in two different grits. It would be nice if Amazon offered them, as they would be perfect for restoring a beat up knife. This tool is still a needed accessory though, as it begins where the diamond grits leave off. Even "so so" serrated knives can be sharpened quickly with this little gem.
