Still Reliable after nearly 3 years [Posted on 2005-12-28] Almost three years ago I set this up to use with my IBM ThinkPad T30. It was simple to set up, worked the first time and has worked reliably ever since. The best indicator of a tech product's effectiveness is that it does its job and you forget it's even there. This product meets that criteria. Sure, 802.11b is being pushed out by 802.11g. So what. If you want a reliable product with good performance, this is one. When wirelessly surfing the web on my laptop, it appears to be just as quick as my desktop (hardwired throught the DI-614+). To specify, mine is the older 2-antenna version.
STILL KICKIN AFTER 3 YEARS [Posted on 2006-02-21] My 2 Antenna version is still working after 3 years. I rarely will have to reboot it. The wireless functions work ok too, however there are newer routers out there that have a lot more features. Speaking of features, most of the configuration settings don't work. For instance, the Port 80 remote management, never worked right from the get go.
I would like to upgrade my router to one with more wireless security features however since this baby still works like a champ with my desktop, I'm going to keep it and run ethernet cables throughout my house to the other computers and not set up a wireless network.
If you can still find this router out there, you may want to get it for it's solid stability but as mentioned, don't get your hopes up too high with the browser based configuration settings.

D-LINK AIR PLUS [Posted on 2007-01-10] Cheap ($35) , very easy to use, been using my own for over 2 years and recently setup the girlfriend with a home network/wireless setup.
Worth the Buy [Posted on 2007-01-24] I bought this router super cheap used. It was easy to install, and gives a very reliable strong signal throughout my medium sized apartment. I don't know about any special features, I just wanted a router that would give me a strong consistant signal, and that's what it does.
D-Link Air-Plus router [Posted on 2007-05-12] It works well. I cannot set up a home network with it, though. My last D-Link was a snap to set up a network, but no this one. Other than that it's fine.
