ITEM PICTURE IS NOT ITEM SHIPPED. ITEM SHIPPED IS A HEADSET, NOT AN ACTUAL PHONE.
Rec'd product on time. It appeared to have a short...charging base only lit up when it was wiggled. Returned to Amazon vendor, who received it but informed me that GE has discontinued it so they cannot replace it. Awaiting return of my money.

Purchased to standardize all cordless phones in home and expand handsets to a total of five (5). Worked well for first few weeks. Power failure caused all phones, including base unit, to lose all functions. All had to be disconnected from electrical outlets and telephone outlet before use could be restored. Waiting to see if there are other major problems. No problems with original base and two (2) original handsets until these three(3) handsets were added.
