Customer Reviews:

Research this product before you buy! [Posted on 2007-02-17]
Tried 5 different applications to try to write to this brand of DVD. None worked, complained of "illegal disk" or error. Called Delkin support, they said my NEC ND-3500AG drive was the culprit, the only brand of drive that won't recognize their DVD media. They told me that they would log my issue and they would put in another request to NEC to upgrade their firmware.

Curiosity got the better of me, so I checked the forums. 99 out of 100 threads had bad news. And it didn't matter what drive. So now I have a $215 spindle of miniature Frisbees. Shame on me...

Product arrived damaged and was never replaced. [Posted on 2007-07-27]
The shipping container arrived in an obviously damaged condition and had been crudely retaped. The spindle holding the DVDs was broken and the DVDs had spilled from their container. UPS was notified and picked up the package; the vendor (not Amazon) was notified and has sent no replacement nor has communicated in any fashion since the original notification.

Excellent Product [Posted on 2008-03-28]
Other reviews on here are wrong! They do not rate the product but instead point at shipping errors with amazon and the failure of the buyer to learn about the specifications of their DVD drives before burning with DVD -R media!

These discs work great! I have been using them for 3 years now for clients to save precious memories. I have never had a failed burn.

I have always used Sony DVD writers/readers. I have used ACDSee and Nero to write to the disc. But any other application will work.

I took off one star because YES they are expensive, but they will last and they do work!

I wouldn't use any other DVD [Posted on 2008-08-23]
After having a hard drive crash once, I realized that everything had better be backed up on hard media. After seeing some older burned CD's changing color, the next step was an archival DVD.
This is the best product in the category I've found. All of our home movies have now been transferred to these, because 20 years from now, we don't want to think about the organic inks used on the burn side, having deteriorated. Have to get that 100 spindle to catch up on the all of the photos that will now be backed up and SAFE! If HP SimpleSave hooked up with these guys and worked on MAC, we'd go there too.
