I got these speakers as part of the package when I bought a Dell pc a few years ago. They are attractive speakers that do produce a good amount of volume. The downside to these is that there are no controls to adjust the bass/treble levels. On some sound recordings this results in lower sound quality similar to that found in a cheap rental car stereo. But then again, they are very inexpensive. If all you want to do is listen to an occasional cd and hear the usual computer "ding" noises, these are a decent choice and good value.

I really enjoy these speakers. They will definitely be worth the money I paid for them. And I got them used!!! They fill the room with quality sound!!! Great Product!!!!

I first saw these speakers in a discount computer store in San Antonio, after reviewing others, I was looking all over the cabinet for where the sound on these were coming from, it's as if there is a virtual subwoofer somewhere. They have a hole in the back that is representative of some of the first Bose speakers, so that may be why.

I bought mine there for about 20 dollars, which is the going price for these. Although I bought a "damaged" pack of 10 pairs for 50 dollars because the first set were so impressive. I bought them thinking I would sell them, but I figure they will just go in store because I like them so much.. My other sound system is a Altec Lansing 5.1 Surround sound system with a subwoofer the size of a footstool, I bought that one in 2000 and it still works fine. I've done searches and this comes up as an altec-lansing product too.

Cons:
Their amplifier is what sucks, if you have something that can amplify through these little speakers, you can get a lot of sound out of them! I use them on my girlfriend's computer for when we want to watch a DVD but don't have a surround sound system, I drive them with a boom box by routing the computers sound into the boom box and out to the speakers..
