Delta Force Land Warrior is one of the best gaming decisions I have ever made. It is at the top of the stack of my games on my computer desk, and never leaves that position. With the action, fun, and skill to be had and to be gained from this game, I would call it nothing short of magnificent. The single player game is very fun with a lot of action, and the number of missions to be played is nearly innumerable. But the best part of the game is the multiplayer mode. Logging onto Novaworld and playing over the internet entertains me to the fullest. Playing against up to 32 people and hundreds of servers to choose from, is the best aspect of the game. The educational value,you ask? I would say that parents would be happy to know that this teaches their children skill and tactics, not because of killing people, but how to ingeniously plan in a sticky situation. This game is THE choice for me.

This game is getting a little old now, but the fun is just non-stop. Choose your missions, roles, etc. I like the role of sniper, but you can pretty much choose any role you'd want. Graphics are pretty good, but when this game was released in 2000, it was quite impressive at the time. Gameplay is fantastic, and they got ballistics down very well. Having to adjust your rifle scope to make that 500 yard shot is pretty cool, especially when you can see the sparks when your bullets hit a solid object and "pink mist" when you hit your target. One of the thrilling aspects of this game is playing in wide open country. You're going to be hiking and running over hills, through fields, lakes, streams, etc. How sick are you of shooting monsters in tunnels? Tis game will certainly cure you're craving for outdoor, long-distance shooting at enemies. Weaponds are accurate, realistic, and abundant. The sheer number of different weapons to choose from are a pure joy that most games lack. Nothing like that .50 cal Barret sniper rifle!

This is a great game that is fun to play. It provides about 10 different missions in a variety of settings and at different times of day so there are daytime and nightime missions. It also has campaigns that are longer and more difficult in some respects.
The downside is that the actual instructions on how to play, are not very detailed.
For me, it was well worth the money and I look forward to playing it.

I ordered Delta Force Land Warrior from CDROMUSA and received the wrong cd. I followed the steps of contacting the seller thru amazon's email system and the matter was taken care of within two days. They did not even ask that the wrong one be returned before they replaced it or afterwards. I was very pleased with the service and would not have any qualms about buying from them in the future.
