Very simple with good sound. Our 5 year old daught loves listening to the music from her mix max on this. It is not a Bose but good sound for the price and works very easily with the mix max.

I purchased the Jam Stand for Christmas with the mix max as a gift to my daughter. She loves to listen to her songs ,watch videos ,and watch her movies with it. My younger daughter has a mix stick and connects hers to the jam stand also. It looks bigger than it really is, yet a great size nonetheless. This is a great speaker system for a younger child. No complaints here.
