I love the convenience. I had to get used to the suction only being in the middle but overall I'm very happy.

This is exactly what I hoped it would be. You sweep things into a nice wee pile and it sucks them up! Fabulous!!!! Worked well on the pine needles from the recent Christmas tree.
Heavier than a real broom with less cleaning power [Posted on 2008-02-27]
It only took one use to figure out this broom was not for me. It's much heavier than a real broom, which makes sweeping even more of a chore. And it's essentially like a regular broom in that you have to sweep first - the vacuum-as-you-sweep function really didn't work for me. The only benefit is it's supposed to suck up the debris you collect, but for that to work the dust has to be lined up perfectly and you have to aim the center of the broom at it. It's a pain. I've gone back to my Swiffer-type sweepers and recently discovered microfiber dust mops, which are great. I keep looking for my perfect vacuum, but I'm beginning to doubt it exists.
