Know your numbers? [Posted on 2005-11-02] Yes, as a previous reviewer said, the Lost City is full of number recognition. My kids are 5 and 2 1/2 and they are both big Dora fans. My 5 year old has tired of this game (we've had it at least a year), but my 2 1/2 year old loves to play the paint-by-number game (I just wish there are more than a handful of pictures) and can now recognize many numbers! So kudos to the game. But he still finds frustration with the other parts of this game. For a more rounded game, try Dora's backpack.
Dora the Explorer Animal Adventures [Posted on 2006-01-24] Software is poor, tried on 3 different computers the cd won't run on any of them. Atari must know about the problem because the web site list what the computer does, but no solution to the problem. Its a waste of time and money.
Don't buy this [Posted on 2006-07-13] I installed this computer on a Gateway 700S and it doesn't work at all. I went to Atari's technical support and followed the suggestions for updating video, sound, and DirectX, which didn't help at all. Now I have a game I can't return and can't play.
Does not WORK!!!! [Posted on 2006-07-18] We are now on our 2nd disc and both did not work in my computer which is just a few years old. Never had a problem with any other software. Stay away from this game!!!
Love it [Posted on 2008-02-09] My 2 1/2 year old loves the game. He always want to play Dora even though I do have other games for him as well. He does need my help from time to time but mostly I can let him just go and play on his own with very little super vision. I did not like how easy it is for him to accidently click on higher levels and I would have to fix it and put it back down to level 1 again. Overall I really liked this game for my son.
