ok this is the worst product description on amazon.com but I finally did a google search for "Dr-4580u" and found out what it is, and it sounds pretty cool if you had a bunch of paperwork you wanted to scan in a hurry... do a "froogle" search for Dr-4580u and you will find this thing for less than 5k
