One of the great classics! [Posted on 2008-12-22] This is one of the great classics of all time! The video quality has been restored on this version and it looks and sounds great! This is a show that we like to watch a couple times each holiday season.
One of the greatest Yuletide specials ever! [Posted on 2008-12-24]
In the peaceful town of Whoville, the Whos young and old love christmas with all their hearts except one furry green yet very cold hearted miser named The Grinch (Voiced by Boris Karloff) who loathed Christmas the most. He decides that he must stop christmas from coming as he uses his dog Max to help him impersonate Santa Claus for on Christmas eve he begins to rob everything of the Whos including the Roast Beast but later he discovers there's more to Christmas then just gifts and something more.
One of the most beloved animated specials of all time! ever since it's debut in 1966, it has became an annual holiday tradition over the years for TV networks. Boris Karloff both narrates the special and even voices the Grinch as he was perfectly casted for the role, June Foray whom you all know as Rocky from "Rocky and Bullwinkle" voices Little Cindy Lou Who. The animation from Chuck Jones is incredible even today as this special is timeless all the way even with it's message that it gives out to the viewer.
This DVD contains briliant picture and sound thanks to the remastering! it also includes the original 1970 "Horton Hears a Who" and extras include Featurettes, Biography gallery, song selection, "TNT's How the Grinch Stole Christmas" documentary with Phil Hartman, and Grinch Pencil Test.
