My video performance improved from score 200 (3dmark05) to around 5800. I was using my onboard video and it was incredibly slow even in a reasonably recent system (Core 2 Duo E4400). With my new video card my PC is much better!

Great video card for the money. Plays all my games with decent Fps.

I bought this card because I am not an extreme gamer, nad it fits all my needs. 256 Mb, DDR3, my PSU can handle it (no extra power).

It runs at 54C on idle and 65-67 under heavy load. A lot of people think this is fine, but I will buy a new fan. The stock fan is nice, but it's a little noisy for me. While I am gaming I don't notice it, or while I am playing music. But when I am not using the speakers I can hear it (it's the loudest fan in my case) and it's always changing speed, because of that, the fan is disturbing.

So far this is the best video card I used, fast and a great overclocker.
You just can not beat this price. I payed like double this a year ago This card does run a little warm when oc'ed Other than that its a super card.

Excellent basic gaming card [Posted on 2007-12-16]
This card is still awesome! It was the best value card of nVidia 7 series and still manages to keep up. You can play Call of Duty 4 (800x600 - 1024x768) decently with some settings off, enough memory and a good CPU. It has the cheapest price you can pay for a card to play it. UT3, Crysis and Gears of War can be played on 800x600 resolution quite well.

If you are really short of money and are running an old card this might be the choice for you until you can afford a 8600GT/GTS or better card. Check 8600 prices before buying this one just in case.
