Excellent for Business Presentors [Posted on 2007-03-07] I use this constantly when I'm conducting training sessions. So far the battery has lasted almost 1 year and I still haven't had to replace it. The product is sturdy and can take a fall well.
Very nice pen [Posted on 2008-04-03] I like this pen a lot. I was concerned that I would like the stylus but not the pen, as I prefer uniball pens and not ball point pens. This pen makes a clean, smooth line that I like just fine. The stylus works as a stylus should. The laser pointer has good distance and a nice point. The LED is bright enough, but you have to hold the button down to keep it on, which is a bit clumsy and inefficient; on the other hand, it cannot be left on by mistake, nor can the button be pushed on by accident in your purse, pocket or briefcase. The pen has a nice grip and is classy looking. I got it for $20 but I see now the price is double that - don't know why. Before I can recommend it for $40, I would want to see how long the ink will last. I don't know if refills are available. I hope so.
Poor Quality Construction Pervades This 4-in-1 Pen [Posted on 2008-08-18] Unfortunately, I find this pen to suffer from poor quality construction. The laser pointer and LED light components of the pen seem to work well--the other end is the problem. The ballpoint pen writes poorly. The ink does not roll out smoothly. Of course the pen-insert can be replaced, but it's really not worth replacing. The greater problem with this 4-in-1 device is that the twisting mechanism that allows you to select between pen and stylus is loose--it's poorly and imprecisely machined--so the extruted tip doesn't stay out when you apply pressure to it (i.e. when you try to write). You can feel the intended catch when you twist the barrel, however the it doesn't actually catch. Not adequately anyway. Point is, you get what you pay for, and I recommend you look elsewhere.
Cool device [Posted on 2008-09-04] I really like this product. Would like it better if the pen was a rollerball!
