IT HELPS [Posted on 2007-10-03] COVER AND STAND MAKE THINGS A LITTLE EASIER WHEN PLACING THE UNIT BUT I DONT THINK IT IS WORTH THE PRICE
Edirol Cover and Stand Work Great [Posted on 2007-11-06] I bought the cover and stand with the Edirol, it fits well and is easy to put on, look very well made. You do need to take it off to plug in to remove files, but all of the other controls are open and withing reach. The stand works fine, just follow the picture to get it in the right way, otherwise the unit will fall over. Nice little addition for the recorder
NOT WORTH THE PRICE [Posted on 2007-11-30] Well, it functions just fine but I could have built one myself with the left-over scraps of leather or plastic and a mini tripod. The tripod the comes with the case is one of those $2.00 things good camera stores give away with purchases (I have several that are actually heavier). The whole thing with the cheap leather and little tripod is not worth more than $20. The idea is useful, though just over priced.
Works but overpriced [Posted on 2007-12-28] Well, since this is genuine Edirol accessory, it just has to work as I expected. I managed to find the cheapest online but no matter how great the deal is, it is still overpriced which is typical Roland. Love them products but hate them prices.
It works, but its a ripoff [Posted on 2008-04-24] I got this case in the hopes that it would mount directly to a standard camera tripod ( forget the cheap little plastic tripod it comes with) and it does, so I'm satisfied. But the price is pretty outrageous - I feel ripped off - they know there are no competing products so they can be greedy. It probably cost $2 to make.
