I absolutely love this game! [Posted on 2005-12-16] Evergirl is one of the best games I have ever played! It is targeted towards adolescent girls, but I think that anyone would enjoy the game.
The game serves quite a challenge at some points, but not without being difficult enought to prevent gamers from advancing despite how hard they try. As a gamer who tends to get frustrated with games that are too difficult, I found this one to be both comfortably challenging and entertaining. I felt like my brain was at work--and this is the first time I felt that way while playing a game made for girls!
Evergirl really does nurture the mind and embraces various personalities. It is a beautiful game through and through, and girls/women even through their twenties would enjoy playing it. It's so much fun!
It was refreshing to play a game that wasn't teaching girls to be materialistic. There is no way to buy clothing, use make-up, or spruce up your character's appearance to make her look incredibly glamorous. I was disappointed with this at first, but then I really came to appreciate this decision by the makers of this game.
I would buy this game for all of the girls in my family, and I can't wait to let them know that a game that caters to fostering the intelligence of girls the way this one does exists. I give my resounding thanks to the makers of Evergirl.
Evergirl Opinion [Posted on 2005-12-27] I want this new game SO badly! My mom is letting me buy it in five days. Why I wait for this surprising day I buy it I watch the preview for it on the evergirl website, and I play Dream Life(THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD)all the time! Though the evergirl website, I'm not so crazy about. I only go on it when i can't find a good website to go on. I'm into fashion but not so much into sports. I'm more of a girly girl and most of the other fifth graders are more preppy and ever since I've turned eleven all I realy am interested in is clothes, games with shopping for clothes, and more clothes!!!!!!!!

Disappointing! [Posted on 2005-12-30] My daughter received this for Christmas from Santa. Much to her disappointment, the system requirements call for 733 MHz. Our home computer is new and we have no where near that...I don't know anyone that has a home computer even nearing those requirements!! The other games received from Santa have minimal system requirements (they run on 233 MHz). I'm sure this is an exciting and educational game as revealed by others in their reviews but unfortunately, we are unable to determine that since we can't even get it to work...and now we are stuck with it. My only advice before buying the game...check your home computer speed!
Cheap version? [Posted on 2007-07-24] I was so excited when I bought theis game. At the time I didn't know much about EverGirl. I have beat the game but it certainly did not take hours. I've heard people talk about things in the game I never got to to do. Maybe it was because of my discions or everscope. I never saw where you had to lead your friends threw woods at camp. I could never buy stuff without my friends telling me to. I went to the fashion store only to find that nothing could be bought. Nor at the sports shop, electronics, or any other stores.
When I bought the game it was only $6.oo. At walmart I think it was around $10.00. I was aloud to do alot of stuff on the game but, it didn't take very long at all. I will try playing again and make different descisions to see if I get a different ending. I spent longer trying to figure out if this was the full version then I did actually playing the game. I am still not sure. It was fun yet, I was somewhat dissapointed. I hope this may be helpful to anyone who might have the same problem.
