After pre-ordering this game, it shipped on the 16th. After DHL handed the package to my local mailing service, which by the way is less than a mile from me, they lost my package.

So after 3 days of waiting and calling everyone, I decided to call Amazon, and told them my problem. They sent me another game, with upgraded shipping. The call took less than 5 minutes, and solved my problem. All in all, I call that great customer service, although I must wait till Friday for the game to arrive, I must say i'm satisfied with the service I recieved, and dissapointed with my local mailing service.

As far as the game itself, I will give a review after I recieve it, and play it. I have been playing World of Warcraft for about a year, and I look forward to a change of pace.

I have been playing this game for about 5 years now and all i can say is that I'm still having fun.It does take awhile to master the controls and each job is different.So it's not for the casual gamer.FFXI has a great story line and well as battle system too.The graphics are very nice and not cartoonish looking like WOW.Only bad thing I don;t like is some times it takes a long time to get a party together.The social aspect is very good and it's easy to meet friends here.FFXI is a real fun game and I highly recommend it to some one who wants to get into MMORPGS.PLus the user base is older people so you don't have to deal with bratty kids,one of my biggest turn offs about WOW.
