Not worth the headaches [Posted on 2006-12-05]
I deeply regret buying this product. Its interface is most unMac-like and not intuitve. Tech support will not respond to your e-mail unless you pay for a support plan. When I got a response I was told the product could not do what I needed to do for my business. So basically the product was a waste of money for me and the support plan was a fee to be informed of this fact. Get Quickbooks Pro instead.

MYOB FirstEdge is a basic accounting program. It does not do payroll or do much with inventory. However, if you don't need those features, then it does the books just like it should.

It's not pretty, but neither is bookkeeping! I need basic book keeping for a side project and this fits the bill perfectly.

Minimalist accounting [Posted on 2007-05-07]
I use it for it's easy billing and backup features. When I wanted to keep better track of expenditures, it was poorly documented and not user friendly. I still use it for billing but I am steeling myself for upgrading and setting up Accountedge or Quickbooks.
