Useful, but for light duty only. [Posted on 2006-09-04]
I've had this unit in use for about eight years. It effectively shreds documents, but does not have the power to handle more than a single thickness of paper at a time. It will not shred credit cards or plastic. The waste bin is very small and requires emptying after every three to four sheets of paper. Though it has been sturdy and reliable, I could not recommend it for any more than very occassional and light use.
