GE 6.0 Cordless Phone [Posted on 2008-02-18] I purchased the GE 6.0 hand set to add to the exisiting cordless phones I had pirchased earlier. The GE 6.0 hand has the best sound quality I have ever tried. It also has the best hands free speaker phone. It is clear and does not cut out like most speaker phones. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PHONE!!!!
Great Phone [Posted on 2008-03-26] Phone system works well. Have purchased two base units -- one each for home and home office -- as well as additional handsets. The call sound quality is good, as is the bluetooth range, which allows the base unit to pick up linked cell phones even at a reasonable distance. The Bluetooth feature works well, having good compatibility with multiple cell phone models (though only 2 cell phones can be linked to the base unit at a given time). Cell calls and land-line calls can readily be answered and placed via the handsets.
Not the most stylish of all cordless phones, but it offers more features than most (especially the Bluetooth connectivity) and it works. Only technical drawback is that the answering machine occasionally cuts callers off prematurely regardless of message length setting.
Just what I wanted [Posted on 2008-04-03] I have had my phone system for about two months and I have had it drop the bluethooth connection once. I can easily transfer the numbers in the phone address to other handsets using the transfer function. Adding a new phone took putting it on the base for 10 seconds, it registered itself. I did take the battery backup out, not an issue for me. I did so in case it drops the bluetooth and I need to re-pair to the cell. The sound is good and the signal does not conflict with the WiFi.
Works as advertised [Posted on 2008-04-06] Not a bad phone. Lots of options and does exactly what I need it to do. Mostly just talk and annoy others in the house with the intercom. I enjoy the bluetooth connection as well. No problems and I would recommend this to others.
It Doesn't Work! [Posted on 2008-10-01] This silver 28101EE1 does not work with the black 28129FE1. It will not register. The 28129FE system is black and evidently requires the black 28101FE1 handset.
