Product don what is was intended for, however it was defective when I received it but was able to repair myself, audio did not work. I opted to repait it myself rther than have to deal with the delays and hassle of sending it back.

this works graeat. wet the suction a little and it doesn't move. Much beter than the bean bag mount that slides all over the dashboard

I bought this to replace the flimsy beanbag type that came with the auto kit. Every time I accelerated the mount would come flying at me. I purchased this mount for a recent 2000 mile road trip with the hopes it would do better. I placed the unit to the left of my steering wheel as the cord was long enough to reach the plug and it stayed in place the entire trip. I moved the unit 2-3 times during the trip and each time it was fairly difficult to remove even after releasing the clamp. We had temperature fluctuations from mid 50's to high 90's and the suction cup held without problems. I would recommend this mount to anyone tired of having their GPS come flying at them when leaving a toll booth. One of the few cons was I would have liked to have one more axis of rotation, as it is fairly hard to have the GPS not face perpendicular to the windshield.

I own an iQue 3600 and have been using the Garmin dash mount navigation kit for the past 4 years. I recently purchased the windshield suction mount and find it to be much more versatile. It packs and travels easier and has the same performance as far as the recharging cradle and the speaker in the cigarette plug-in. Since purchasing this suction mount I have used it a dozen times and have found it to be better in all ways than the dash mount sand filled friction system that makes up the Auto Navigation Kit from Garmin.
