Garmin Nuvi 350 Wouldn't want to ask for more [Posted on 2008-07-19] This product is exactly what I was looking for in a GPS navigator -- compact, portable, but still large enough to read easily. My wife insisted on spoken street names (not just "turn right now") and it was great with that. Had trouble getting it to re-route where I wanted to go but that was operator error after having it only a couple of days. Worked great after reading tech order (Duh!) Nothing but high marks and highly recommend it.
From VA to TX [Posted on 2008-07-19] There's not much I can say that hasn't been said before. After a bit of hasty research and some recommendations from others, I bought this model for my move from Virginia to Texas. It was indispensable; from finding gas stations (I preferred Shell since I have a card there) to finding food other than what's advertised on the highways, to getting a hotel room for the night when you can't drive anymore, it didn't hiccup one bit. That is, until I hit the really heavy construction in Houston where it went crazy. It would tell me to take a left where there was none, or to turn around in the middle of the highway. Oh well, I guess any other GPS would choke in the same situation. My only minor complaint would be the lack of a QWERTY mode for the keyboard which would really be great for the majority of us who can type. Even though I have a pretty good sense of direction, the Nuvi 350 was still great in helping me find my way around town when I arrived.
Great Value! [Posted on 2008-07-19] An excellent value for this Garmin GPS. Extras were included that I didn't expect for the price.
Garmin GPS [Posted on 2008-07-19] Excellent GPS unit. Was a gift to my brother-in-law and he loves it. Uses it in his business finding addresses.
Garmin 350 Nuvi [Posted on 2008-07-19] A little traveling jewel. I like everything about it with one exception. I cannot adjust the volume high enough when my grandkids are in the car. Simple to use, menu driven, accurate, very portable. I made a good buy with this one. Highly recommend it.
