Great for the money [Posted on 2008-05-02] I expected far less resolution with the touch sensative pen, but to my surprise it works as well as the more expensive counterparts out here.
The tip pressure sensitive part worked better then I expected.
The driver setup is clanky with reboots and all that microsoft nusenses
that come with the WinOS blues, My only complaint is the software, after all of that setup software installs and reboots can we "Not Care" what usb port we plug it into from that point on?
Take note what USB port you plug this into during setup; for if you don't you will have to run setup for every port individually untill you hit one that you used before.
Recommened! [Posted on 2008-05-04] I bought this tablet only because i did not have any money for the wamcom tablet. I must say that this tablet works very well for the price. Its sensitivity is perfect and i love the way the pen feels. I recommend this tablet to anyone who is starting out or cannot afford the wamcom.
AWESOME! [Posted on 2008-05-05] Since I bought a Bamboo about a year ago I like wacom, but it was wearing out so needed a replacement. I was on a budget and seen this Genius and said what the hay and ordered it. I love it! The wacom was great but this one is twice better then the more expensive wacom. You can't beat it for under 50 bucks! I recommened this to anyone doing photo touch-ups, working with CS3, and just everyday e-mailing. LOVE it and it's an awesome product!
Couldn't get used to it [Posted on 2008-05-09] My first tablet, to be used as a mouse replacement for ergo reasons. After 1 day I couldn't get used to it, (not easy to click unless pen is vertical which is not the way we normally hold pens; large size makes for too much arm motion; I never could figure out how to easily click the thumb-button) so I gave up. So it has not been useful for me, but I may not be a good data point.
Fairly prised [Posted on 2008-05-10] This is my first tablet. It is not expensive at all for the quality. However, I cannot figure out how to get the shortcuts to work, even though I installed the driver and softwares from the CD. Overall is good.
