Classic [Posted on 2008-01-19] One of the best games Ive played to date, probably my favorite out of the GTA series. GTA3 is a close second but besides having a bigger map I thought everything else in Vice City was better - the 80s atmosphere, music, missions and voice acting (especially Ray Liotta as Tommy Vercetti). The amount of freedom allowed in the game is great - you can focus on the main storyline, cruise around, do the side missions or just wreak havoc in general. Although later titles like San Andreas naturally added improved features to the gameplay, I found it boring and stopped playing halfway through. Vice City is my personal favorite because its a city you want to explore, the characters and storyline are more interesting and it just has a better feel to it.
The best in the series i think [Posted on 2008-02-15] Far better than San Andreas and a huge improvement of GTA3. Best addition: MOTORCYCLES. Also you can buy properties and houses which leads to more save spots and more missions to do. Excellent game overall when compared to the others in the series. Alhough it is still rockstar, which means it has its frustrating points. Cars still randomly explode when you flip em. And it is extremely easy to die. But still fun for a couple of hours. Not worth the money though guys, for lack of replayability.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City [Posted on 2008-03-24] I find this game very enjoyable to play. Its just as good as GTA III if not better. It has excellent detailed 3D graphics and animation. One thing I like about this game is the fact it allows the player to do so many different things and go anywhere in the huge 3D city environment. I also really like the fact the game can be customized and its highly modifiable with substitute car models, player models, and pedestrian models.
With that said, the game has very explicit violent content. Therefore, I don't think this game is suitable for children at all. I'd only recommend this game to mature responsible adults who are not sensitive to its explicit violent content and have sense enough to know this is only a game and understand they should not commit these acts of violence in reality. The violence doesn't really bother me and I would have personally given it five stars as far as my taste goes. As an honest person however, I only gave this game an overall rating of three stars because the violence content may offend some people.
Not for the faint of heart-minors stay away! [Posted on 2008-04-03] This is the most disgusting, bloody, destructive, rude, crude, oughta be illegal to play or own game ever created and I love it! Tell me you've never fantasized about running red lights, wrecking cars, or blowing stuff up. Tell me you've never had a fantasy about doing something unpleasant to someone who gave you a ticket for speeding or for having a lousing attitude. Well...if you want to relieve that stress, just pretend one of the thousands of people in this game is the person that bothers you so much...point your weapon of choice and fire away. Rocket launchers and molotov cocktails are 2 of my favorite weapons of choice. Fair warning-this game is bloody and nasty. You can kill every last citizen in this game in a variety of ways and even pay hookers for well...hugs and kisses I suppose. This game is not for children or teens and any parent who knowingly allows their child to play this, well...Tommy would have a creative way for them to "accidentally" die. Great game for adults though.
Excellent game I fully recomended [Posted on 2008-06-28] Excellent game I fully recomended, actually I spend more than three hours per day paying this game, I've got GTA San Andreas too and they're amazing.
