A big improvement over the old CRT monitor [Posted on 2007-06-07]
This monitor was very easy to install and worked from the start. No adjustments to the display were necessary. The built in speakers are good, but even at maximum volume they are on the verge of not being loud enough. The instructions tell you to insert the enclosed CD in the disc drive after the operating system loads. I thought it might install drivers, but it contains only a new version of Adobe Acrobat Reader and manuals for the monitor in various languages. You could skip this part until you need the manual, but the printed manual pretty well covers the same material very adequately. This new monitor has made using our older computer a much better experience. The price made it a good value, too.

Awesome monitor. No dead pixels - bright, color neutral, and fast. I was VERY impressed with this monitor. The buttons a little stiff and unresponsive - that's my only criticism. Other than that - this monitor is indistinguishable from the the name brand ones that are far more expensive (I understand the panels themselves are sourced from the same factories). A hit and a keeper.
