After using the HP 2460 for a few weeks I find that for the price it does the job nicely.
JAMS and MISFEEDS! Bad Printer! [Posted on 2008-06-24]
4" X 6" photo paper jams and misfeeds through the printer. 7 sheets photo paper inserted. Sheet 1 jammed inside the printer. Sheet 2 cut 1/2" off one side of photo and made a 1/2" border on the other side. Sheets 3-7; misfed allowing one photo to be spread over 4 pages! The only pages that ever fed through properly were the 2 cartridge alignment test pages. Printer re-boxed and sent back to Amazon. Shocking (to me) compared to all my other HP products. Don't know if it was a one off quality issue, but sounds similar to "Pussycats" review.

Got this at staples for $52. It's very small, very compact, and does a pretty good job for not too much money. It's not very fancy but it's good and will get the job done. I had one paper jam because I put the alignment slider too far in and the paper went in at a weird angle but I fixed it and it's all good.The helpful make drivers allowed me to align my printer and test it to get it perfect.

I used my old power cord and printer cable, plugged this printer in, tossed in the cd and went with the prompts and was printing quality pages within 20 minutes.
Perhaps the other reviewers got a bad printer, or something; for me, this printer works great and I had no problems.
Plus, you can't beat the price!

this is a great printer it prints at high speeds with good detail and folds into a small appliance for the person with a cluttered desk it is perfect and uses little ink
