This is one of the best printers I've ever owned. The color comes out a perfect match, it doesn't streak or run together and it is very quite. I've had some pretty expensive printers and this one prints just as good as any of them. Thanks HP, you've done it again.

Another good HP printer. This one works ok with Vista home premium.

I don't load the HP disk that comes with it. Hp loads too much junk that drives you nuts with updates and pop ups.. This trash is very hard to get rid of when installed. Plus on some vista rated printers the HP install crashes and you have a mess on your hands... HP installer has Vista problems.

I use the Vista hardware installer and insert the HP disk when the install wizard calls for it. Vista finds the drivers on the disk and installs printer and is good to go...

Great printer! This particular model is a printer only that is convenient & perfect for home use. It's not designed for high volume work so be aware of that. It came with power cord, 1 black ink cartridge, 1 color ink cartridge, manual & installation disk. Most buyers of printers are aware that printers don't come with the usb cable, those of you that are new to buying printers need to be aware of this, The usb cable needed is a usb/a to usb/b type.

I haven't had any problems with it. I use it in conjunction with my laptop which is why I specified the type of usb cable that I did. My laptop is HP as is the printer so I didn't expect any compatibility problems nor were there any. I've printed articles & documents from the internet, printed documents from my computer & use it to print things from the Surething label printer download that I have. Only the Surething printing is slow. It takes about 15 seconds or more to start the document to print from that source. It's easy to cancel & delete documents in the print queue.

For the person who just wants to occasionally print things this printer is ideal. It doesn't take up much space & the paper trays fold up which aids in saving space. I've been completely satisfied with this unit.

Sufficently prints out documents and pics. A bit bulkier and louder than I expected. But still not bad for a $65 printer.
