Perfect Copies [Posted on 2004-11-01] I have used a HP LaserJet 1200 in my office for 3 years, and have found it to be the most reliable and best printer I've ever owne. Changing the cartridge for this printer is also the simplest of any printer you will find. It takes about 5 seconds to replace. All you have to do is pop open the cartridge cover pull the cartridge out, and slide in your new one. I'm considered fairly inept when it comes to gadgets, but this one I can manage. If you're looking for aprinter, the 1200 is a good choice. The cartridge is also widely available with cartridge refill companies, making the affordability of this product attractive.
1000 series not all the same [Posted on 2006-09-13] You may get the impression that a cartidge labeled for LaserJet 1000, 1200, 1220, and 3300, should work with all the 1000 series of laserjet printers. Unfortunately that's not true and this toner does not work with the 1012 or 1020 laserjet printers.
Good cartridge, good printer [Posted on 2007-01-15] I've had this printer for four years. I print approximately 25 documents each week. This is the first time that I have had to replace the cartridge. It's a great little printer and this cartridge lasts a good long time, too. Compared to ink jet printers that I have had, I get about 5 times as many prints from this laserjet -- and the price of the cartridges is about the same as the ink jets.
Great buy.
HP Toner Cartridge for LaserJet 1000, 1200, 1220, and 3300 (C7115A) [Posted on 2007-03-23] Great product. Only drawback was waiting a month for the "free" shipping.
Toner Cartidge from HP [Posted on 2008-01-07] When the original toner cartridge for an HP LaserJet 1000 became used up, I obtained a "just like new" reconditioned one through Staples. This cartridge never worked satisfactorily, leading me to suspect something was wrong with the printer itself. In an attempt to answer the question, I bought a new HP Cartridge and to my delight things are back to normal. My advice is to avoid low cost reconditioned cartridges advertised as working "like new." The new HP is totally satisfactory and well worth the additional cost.
