I have had this case for about a year now. I can give you some real things that have happened to it.

- Before I stopped wearing it on my belt, I was going up some stairs and it slid a bit forward and my leg popped it out of the clip. There it was flying ahead of me toward a concrete surface. It hit hard. The SD card in the ipaq popped out and the two inside slide a bit but did not come out of there holders. i ran up and grabbed it up and it worked with out a problem.
- Once I had it on my lap in the car and forgot about it. As I got out of the car it slid out and onto the ground and I had put my foot on it before I realized it. i had even rotated my foot a bit. Again the case held. The cover was a bit tweaked but still no ipaq damage.

Those are the two main drops I have had. One other did manage to get to the top edge of the ipaq and scratch it a bit but still nothing major and the ipaq was safe and snug.

I have two young kids also so a case like this can help if you forget to put the ipaq out of little hands.

This is well worth the money and I will buy another when the time comes.
