We have recently purchased the PN592 Modem. I am very unsatisfied with this product. I call tech support and they could not reslove my problem. It is uncompatiable with processors with MMX technology.

The modem that arrived looked nothing like the one pictured (it was only half as long). When installed in any PCI slot on my(highly reliable) 8KHA+ motherboard (Via KT266 chipset) it prevented the computer from starting. Dead. Nothing. No boot sequence. The computer just sat there. Pulled the Hawking out, replaced it with a Diamond SupraMax, and that modem immediately worked flawlessly.....
