Not As Advertised! [Posted on 2007-12-13]
I ordered this "equivalent" adapter for my HP Pavilion DV6000. It is not equivalent. The power tip (part that is supposed to fit into the computer) is too long and doesn't stay connected. The charger brick itself becomes very hot to the touch - much more so than the OEM HP charger does. Also, this charger is NOT labeled as UL or CSA listed. Buyer beware!

Bought item 4 months ago and is already broken. Would definately NOT reccommend!! BEWARE!!

I broke my other power cord, so I thought I'd give this a try for my dv6000. So far I haven't had any trouble and it is compatible with my computer. So I would recommend, if you need a replacement.
