Could have made much better! [Posted on 2003-10-26]
This game was interesting for the first few weeks then I got to the 5 level and it wasn't fun anymore. They could of made it more exciting, which they didn't. The good things are that you can jump which is really exciting. The bad things are that theres only 4 horses and you can't do anything to them, also they are really slow.Another reason is I wish you could put leg wraps on and bell boots or splints on the horses. If anyone finds a game that you can jump and do other stuff please do a reveiw on it because i love jumping in real life on my friends Thoroughbred and competing in events around where i live.THankz

A good game to keep you occupied. [Posted on 2003-11-19]
Well, in my opinion, this is a great game, though it does get rather minotinous after awhile. It would be better if there were more horses, if the Dressage actaully gave you a decent score (drops you back to zero for no reason), if it actually worked on win 2000 (like my box said it would, then the support site refused to admit). The cross country is tough, and so is the dressage. But the show jumping is really great, and you can just fly along to get high scores.

The tresure hunt, and horse questions are fun, but the goat is pointless. Cleaning stalls loses it's fun after awhile too. Feeding is difficult b/c one of the stalls is labeled wrong.

While not at the same level as Equestriad, it is better than Mary King (which is amoung the worst games ever), and provides good entertainment.

It was okay.... [Posted on 2003-11-29]
I dunno. The horses are cool, they're really pretty and have great graphics and I like the scavenger hunt.....but this can't compare to Let's Ride. Let's Ride rocks! I have every single Let's Ride cd and the best two are the Rosemond Hill Collection and Equestriad 2001. The rest are just....you know. And Mary King's Riding Star isn't too good. It is really realistic, and you get to groom your horse and everything, but besides that there's not much to do. You can do competitions and everything, but they aren't very fun at all.
Overall, the horse game on this cd isn't very good. The competitions you get in aren't fun at all, really. It just didn't amuse me that much.
For anyone who is thinking of getting Equestriad 2001, get it! It is majorly awesome. It is probably one of the best horse games I have ever played. So if you do get it, here's two cheats (I'm not sure what the first one does) MR HAPPY and NEW YEARS EVE
Thanks!

50/50 feelings [Posted on 2005-08-04]
This game is interesting until you beat all the levels and set all the high scores or time records. After that, this game is very POINTLESS! Unless you are getting this for a youngster, BEWARE!

Awesome Game [Posted on 2006-09-28]
I think this game is great. I had a little trouble in the cross-country at first, but then I found you had to jump farther away from the jump than in the show jumping.
It's very addictive, and if I start playing it, I'll play it for hours.
Dressage is kind of boring, but it's not like you have to do that...
I would recommend this game.
