A Great game, but it is very misleading. [Posted on 2007-02-01] This is a really great game. i completed it within 3 days (im 12). I guess ppl are upset with it becuase they keep getting stuck.
At first, its a really dark setting and its storming. that is cute? No,no,no. I have been looking forward to this game, waiting for it, (my friend sent UBI SOFT a suggestion to make a Horsez ,because they had made Catz and Dogz.) And i was disapointed at how it was so different from what i thought.
The only cute part is the "Foal" one. you take care of a foal every REAL day (which annoys me a bit). YOu do all of you can (which isnt much) with the foal one day, and you eagerly have to wait until the next real day.
As for getting stuck in the birthday part (where you have to go into the library) here is where the key is---
Ok, you leave the building your in. walk out to the entrance (where you started the game) and to your left (not the characters left, your left) is a door. go in it, and the key is on the table. Simple,no? guess not.
Help at all?
It's Okay [Posted on 2007-02-24] This game is okay, but it's very dark in the beginning and I didn't like the ending very much. Also this game is pretty much a copy of Champion Dreams first to ride. At least I think that's the title of the game. I would suggest the computer game, the dressage is much easier on the computer because the dressage controls on this game are a lot like Dance Dance Revolution, except you use the X O square and triangle keys. And the people who made this game must think we children are phychics! If I hadn't read the review on where to find that stupid key I NEVER would have found it. Oh, by the way, the key is the director's office which is in the door on your left by the front gate. It's the little sliver of black which you can hardly tell is a door. Also, there's no maps and you'll often find yourself lost on the trails outside the farm because there's a bunch of different trails branching out and one way to the farm. And when you have to ride to the vet, you have to go off the trail which I dont know how I figured this out. And when you're racing, you have no idea where you're going! This game is very frustrating at times, but it's fun in other aspects. If you love horses a lot you might want to get this game, but I would really suggest the computer version although it doesn't work on our newest computers, the screen is cut in half on my grandma's computer, and there's no sound on my mom's old junky one, which is of no fault of the game. So the only part that really gives me trouble is the key part otherwise you should find everything you need, buut you have to be pretty smart to know how to use it though.
My Girls Love It [Posted on 2007-04-11] I have both a 7 and 9 year old, both girls. They have had a great time playing this game. It is easy for them to understand and play. So cute!!
THIS IS A DUMB GAME [Posted on 2007-08-15] I cant get passed the part where the birthday party, and you have to sneak by people to go get the present, can someone help me I dont want to give up on this game! but I HATE the graphics and music, its booring and hard, I reccomend this for adults
Big money cheat. Do not buy! [Posted on 2007-11-10] Game stinks and lies. Okay, on the back, it has a picture of a foal that you get to take of and train and watch grow, right? Wrong, this never happens. If you've ever played Champion Dreams, and played this, you'll see what I mean. Its exactly -no difference- the same game. But it tries to tell you its a different game on the box. I bought this game, and was so disappointed that my mom called the place where I got it and asked if I could return it and told them why. Thankfully, I got to return it.
Oh, and just to tell you how much horse knowledge Ubi Soft has, on the back of the box on the computer version of this game, the have a picture of a foal wearing a western saddle. And the saddle is backwards! Ubi should not make horse games, because they stink at it. And there doing this stuff with other games too. Dreamer and My Pony Club are the same!
