Dog fest [Posted on 2007-07-13] The case and packaging materials had about four too many layers of stickers, tape, and security seals... yet the disk inside wasn't even pushed onto the case's spindle! No, the case interior wasn't broken, it just wasn't packaged correctly. It's amazing that though they're paranoid someone might access the disk without paying for it, they have very little concern for whether or not it gets damaged in transit. This is part of the reason the game's overall rating is marked down.
That being said, this is an intricate business-themed sim with enough depth to keep you occupied. I have an issue with the tutorials not being required to begin, but others might like that kind of "jump in with both feet" approach. The price might make you think it's one of those games where you'll master it in a day, but it's not like that. I can see plenty of replay value in this title, and plenty of room for future titles with different business themes.
Now if only they'd have more concern for the consumer who actually buys the game, and less concern for possible theft, I'd be a lot happier.
Barely Good [Posted on 2008-03-03] Bought on a whim, hoping it would be entertaining. Very slow to set up, run, progress. Will probably pawn off on my nephews because of the scantily clad girls.
