It Won't Work!! [Posted on 2002-11-26]
Be aware, we bought this game from a major local store and it would not load. We then exchanged it for a new one and that one would not load either! We searched THQ's website for patches and requested email and followed all of their advice, but have not been able to get this thing to work. We shouldn't really give it any stars because we have no idea what the game is like!

I also puchased Hot Wheels Bash Arena and after many failed attempts to load it, I finally gave up and bought Hot Wheels Velocity X.

We also have problems getting this game to run on an XP machine. It just gives us a black screen on our machine. THQ was not helpful at all in trying to solve the problem, other than to send us an email to update our drivers (which didn't help). On a friend's XP machine it works just fine and the kids love to play it. The cars are hard to maneuver but the kids like the different arenas and secret places that unlock other arenas. I wouldn't recommend the game, based on the technical problems - we've also had problems with Velocity X, but not the older Hot Wheels games like Stunt track Drive 1 and 2.

This game ran extremely well for me. Very nice 'simulation' style crash-derby style game. Nice graphics. 20 very detailed cars.Each arena is very unique and colorful. The multiplayer function works very well. However, there's not a lot of people online playing this for some reason. Good value. Fun program. My 5 year old son and myself both enjoy this program.

INTO THE TARGET CARS! MY OTHER 2 SONS 5 & 6 LUV THIS GAME AND ALL 3 BOYS
