once i got it, i was ready to use it because i have a sony phone which uses a memory stick pro duo 2 gigs
once i opened the package, i was kind of confused on how to put the stick in, then i realized that it actually opened up like a clamshell, instead of sticking it into a slot like on most card readers
it works perfect and transfer files pretty quickly
the only downside about it is that everytime i plug it in with my memory stick, it asks to scan for viruses and stuff, but i think its my memory stick, and not the reader

I just got this product yesterday. I read the review about the card being kinda tough to remove and mine was like that too. I freaked out because I have a brand new 4gb card in there. But after a little bit of wiggling, I was able to remove the card and now the card is easy to remove.
This is super small (the smallest that I have seen for pro duo card readers) and you can even use this as a usb stick.
I like it! I no longer need to drag my large 6 in 1 card reader especially since I only have a sony digital camera.

Upon its much anticipated arrival, I grabbed my $100 8GB memory stick pro duo and inserted it. Placed it into the computer and it couldn't read the card. When I tried to put the card back in the psp, it was unreadable. The card had been functioning just prior because I had just used it. This little gadget, for unknown reasons, fried my quite expensive card. When I contacted the manufacturer, all their tech could say was 'do you have another card you can put in it to test it?'
I was not much impressed by the reader nor its makers. Given what it did to my memory card, I can't honestly say I would reccomend it.
Works, but not on printer with Direct Print from USB [Posted on 2008-05-08]
I bought this to replace an MS PRO adapter that failed, and it does work well, reads and writes fast, on my computers.
I also bought this to quickly print from USB on my Brother laser printer with Direct Print. A plain USB flash drive works, but this USB reader does not work in the printer's USB input. I learned online that some USB readers do not work like a plain USB drive as they have a USB hub function. May be the case with this reader.
