ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Posted on 2006-02-12] i picked up this game in a hurry knowing it was in fisherman. i knew they would give you info. about the fish. and best of all you can catch catfish!!!!!! but this game is repetative. you can use a fish finder that doesnt help. what came up as a huge fish on the fish finder was the smallest (...)crappie ive ever seen!!!!!!!!!! and the music!!!!!!! the music is what makes you angry in the morning. im like shut up. i know that you picked the first 3rd grade band you could find but at least dont tell us that. if you press mute you should have a good time w/ the game 4 4 hours tops. fish realistike and lures are realistike but i do wish the graphics were better.
Great fun! [Posted on 2006-07-05] Takes a while to learn the different controls, but seems worth the effot. It's fun.
Pretty Bad [Posted on 2006-12-05] I bought this game off the discount rack and could only play it for a little while unitl I got frustrated and quit. The graphics are poor and the boat gets stuck all the time. Half the time you make a cast and it says something about the fish was missed and ends the cast. I would not recommend this fishing game.
Good value for a fishing game [Posted on 2006-12-30] This game isn't very demanding of your computer, which means you'll have no trouble running it on anything made since 1998, more than likely. The best part of the game is outsmarting the fish, which is enjoyable for longer than I thought it would be.
My 11-year old son played this for hours at a time, funny enough. We'd hear his shouts as he pulled in another fish bigger than the last.
Easy to play, not amazing visually, but effective enough to be fun.
Oh my God!!! This game is absolutely terrible! [Posted on 2007-01-09] Years ago I had a fishing game that was a ball to play and the graphics and action were extremely realistic. It was exiting to play. Unfortunately, it can't be played on newer operating systems. I think it was made for Windows '98. I just bought In Fisherman Freshwater Trophies and I simply can't believe how terrible it is. The graphics are the worst I have seen in any game, the controls don't work, and, well, it's just really bad. It's so bad, in fact, that I would say it isn't much better than the old Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards was back on the 1st generation MS-DOS PCs. It's really that bad. I am not a big gamer but I do have Medal of Honor and a few other games and they are light years ahead of this piece of garbage. It's mind-boggling that someone could actually put out a game this bad. I just threw mine away. Even my 5 young grandchildren wouldn't like this junk. Don't waste your money.
Now I have to find a good fishing game.
