Customer Reviews:

A great computer organizer [Posted on 2005-05-10]
In the eight years I have worked in a church office, I have always used paper calendars and planners. I purchased this software two months ago and I don't know how I did without it before! The software does everything that I need it to do. I am especially impressed with the variety of printing options for calendars, to-do lists and combinations. It makes printing out weekly staff calendars a breeze. I also use the repeat option all the time for to-do items and dated events. The address book is a nice feature, though I have not used it extensively. I also like the notebook feature for quick lists. I do not have a palm pilot, so syncing it is for me, no problem. So far, this software, especially for the price, is invaluable to me!

A waste of money [Posted on 2005-08-07]
I bought this software primarily because of two advertised features:

Ability to import from DayTimer (yes, I have the old DayTimer software)

All those print formats

So... it doesn't 'import from DayTimer' at all. You must export into a csv file, map the csv file to Anytime format, and then, Anytime will import your data, ignoring the detailed mapping you just did, so that addresses end up in telephone number fields, personal names in organization name... and some data I never found at all (and this is just addresses!)

And the print... well, my life is not scheduled in hour increments, half hour calendars suit me better.. and yes, you can select half hour increments. However, when you do that, you only get half a day!

I'm deleting this from my hard drive, and writing off the cost as an educational expense (Since I've learned to be more careful before buying software)

Poorly Planned Planner [Posted on 2005-12-02]
I have been looking for a good organizer to replace my outdated Lotus Organizer. I am looking for a quality organizer that is simple, practical and easy to use. Anytime Organizer does not meet any of the criteria listed. The best part of this software is the box. It has great illustrations, pictures and lots of hype. What set this software apart for being bad?
1) The manual is poorly written. Half of it shows you how to install the program. Shouldn't it be automatic and intuitive? It has two pages of pictures of icons, with no explanation what they do;
2) The graphical interface is more like win95 software. The icons are poorly designed and do not utilize the full potential of XP technology. This sum up the whole story for this program;
3) Menu bars and icons are not adjustable. One size, one look fit all, you cannot add, delete or move any of the icons;
4) Entering appointment: if you want to set an event from 9 am - noon. Instead displaying as 8:00a, 9:00a-12:00p, 1:00p, it will display as follow: 8:00a, 9:00a-12:00p, 10:00a, 11:00a, 12:00p, 1:00p. Why all the extra lines? Confusing! This is only the beginning!
5) Synchronization with my pda took 4 times longer, as it sync with every single event instead only those changes were made.
6) Entering the To Do item: You have to set the priority as 1-9 or A-Z. But there is no provision to mark as A1, B3, etc.
7) To mark done with the To Do item, you need to open the To Do detail box to click on the Done box. You cannot click on the item on the To Do list to mark as completed.
I have barely scratched the surface.

Overall, the program is poorly designed and definitely not worth the money. If it is issued as shareware, the author will be a very poor man!

Lacklustre... at least [Posted on 2006-11-06]
First impression - not impressed.

Further on - worse.

I purchased this very inexpensive product ($7 or $8) for one purpose: use its address book to enter data and print it out, properly centered and both sides, in 6 inches by 3 inches, for my paper organizer...in Cyrillics.

At the first attempt I managed to enter the data in the required alphabet, but in print those characters were garbled .

Second attempt - no characters, even Latin, at all, empty page.

I tried to contact the tech support by three different methods to no avail.

They never wrote or called me back.

Great Value [Posted on 2007-01-16]
I purchased this organizer and found it exceptionally easy to use. It's well worth the price and I use it often. I saw a similar product at an electronics store at double the price that I paid.
