The harddisk really works well once you plug it on to you computer.It is compatible to all the computers that i used which is very important for me.It is also light and portable and would be ideal for the computer student.I feel that i got value for my money.

The Iomega is very impressive so far; but I've only had a few days experience with it. Every time I've started it, it's been quite and quick, and incredibly easy to use. I got it and instantly backed up my files on it, and a day later my computer hard drive happened to crash. The Iomega literally saved everything I had, and had my repaired computer running like normal 15 minutes after it was turned on.
It hasn't survived the test of time, so there's room for doubt. But so far it's been perfect, and from that I gather that it's a strong product and a great deal.

I have had this product for over a year now, the only thing is that I left it on the all the time, and eventually fried the enclosure, so I bought a new enclosure and I was pretty fine still...But if you don't leave it on, I am pretty sure I will be good. But great product for a great price
