Cheap, easy to use BTadaptor with some usability problems [Posted on 2008-08-06]
The Jabra A125s is pretty good. Pairs easilty and it's onboard battery means that it doesn't drain iPods battery. However some major issues prevent this item being great - and the more expensive Sony BT transmitter is a better long term and overall investment.

The MAJOR issue is the lack of the securing 'teeth' on the dock connector. This means a slight tap can cause the unit to come loose. Annoying when you have the ipod in a bag or something. When using the unit i had to put the ipod and transmitter in a camera case thing to keep it together.

Which brings me to the size of the unit. Although it is very light and feels 'hollow' the large size of the item means that it doesn't fit-in with a lot of ipod classic cases (the Griffin Reflect is the only case I have that can accomodate it) Even with the battery I think it's too big since it feels like lot of excess plastic.

True the onboard battery means that it doesn't put a drain on the ipod but it means its another thing to keep charged.

The Sony's transmitter does way with this and to be honest even if it doubles the power usage, an iPod classic would still run for about 10 hours which would probably outlast the bluetooth headset/headphones you would be using. But atleast I know my BT transmitter is always ready for use.

The size also doesn't help the unit from coming loose!

However I can't falt the Jabra on price. It is cheap - with out being cheap - I just wish it had a more secure connection. I ended up buying the Sony transmitter as well because of the loose connection.

Motorola beats Jabra [Posted on 2008-08-14]
Jabra a125s functions well. Motorola is on a par. But you have to charge Jabra and a couple other things. But all you have to do is plug in the Motorola to the IPOD and you're listening on bluetooth. Sorry Jabra. I got my Motorola on sale at Radioshack for just under fifty bucks.

Aabra Jabra Kadabra [Posted on 2008-08-26]
This item works well as long as you are in sight of the IPOD. Even by placing the IPOD in my pocket or backpack the signal fades and gets choppy. I guess I was expecting to much. I'll will not recommend

Jabra A125s Bluetooth iPod Adapter  [Posted on 2008-09-06]
I purchased the Jabra A125s Bluetooth iPod Adapter along with the Jabra BT620s Bluetooth Headphone and have enjoyed both. They were easy to set up and since they are both from the same manufacturer they both use the same charger so I do not have any extra ones to worry about and I always have a spare to take with me when I am gone for long periods of time.

The only suggestions that I would have would be for a positive connection to my iTouch; as it is now it is too easy to wiggle out just enough so that the connection is not good and I have to push it back in.

Of course this only happens when I am walking it works great when I am just lounging around listening to tunes.

Excellent customer service [Posted on 2008-09-20]
Though I had to return the product because it did not work I have to mention that vendor's customer service was prompt and I was given a full refund without delay.
