Jurassic Park Dinosaur Battles: reveiw [Posted on 2004-05-17] I think this game is great in many differet ways because there is no gore or violence, the game has 3D graphics which is the best, you gain dinosaurs like T-rex, Spinosaurus, Velociraptor and much more, you also gain attacks along the way, and it doen't need a scanner like scan command does because Dinosaur Battles already has 500 or more peices. So I rate Dinosaur Battles a 5 is because almost anyone can play it and it's fun!
hours of fun [Posted on 2004-06-02] I gave my eight year old son this game, and he has been playing it with enjoyment for the past six months. He has played it with each of his friends on playdates, and several of them have purchased it and play it at home now. It is essentially an exercise in optimization -- how to configure the dinosaurs so they will battle most effectively. It takes patience, strategy, and skill to create winning dinosaurs. I believe my son is learning while he plays. Fortunately, the battles are realistic enough to be satisfying but not gory or upsetting -- the defeated dinosaurs don't die, they just moan and slink off. An additional plus: some of the key human players, including the evil scientist, are smart girls and women. My only problem with the game is that it is so fascinating that I have to limit my son's time at the computer!
a great but hard game [Posted on 2005-09-14] i think this is a great game i am a true master at it im only 10 and im a great hacker i like it but i wish this game was a little bit more gory because i have a game called warpath jurassic park and that is so bloody you feel there pain but anyway this is a great game i just wish i could beat spiny my t.rex can.t wipe him out.
Dinosaur Batlles: Not what you think [Posted on 2005-12-28] I got this game for Christmas one year, and thgis is what I have to say. First of, this game is actually another JP game called Scan Command, just released under a different title. Second, there are only 6 dinosaurs you can control, and most of them are very weak (Including Spinosaurus). Third, it has little to do with the storyline of the movies. The game makes you think an ancient tribe of people lived on the island and worshiped the dinosaurs! I'm being completely serious!
The last thing is that my computer could show most of the 3D landscape because the computer (brand new, I should mention) wasn't powerful enough!!!! Besides for this, it is a pretty good game, just for those do-nothing days. Buy with caution!!!
Dinosaur Battles - The BEST dinosaur game ! [Posted on 2007-03-03] I am 9 years old and I have been playing this game for a few years. The first time I played it, it was quite difficult because I could never get past the protectors through the different lands. The game is really fun. The way to get your dinosaurs to win their battles against the stronger dinosaurs is to get skills from winning battles against weaker dinosaurs and then go to the DNA lab to get stronger. The purpose of the game is to stop an evil scientist from cloning dinosaurs and causing trouble. The way you do this is to first get past the Hatchling Velociraptor which guards you from all of Jurassic Park. Then you travel from land to land, each time getting a new dinosaur to use. The third land is the hardest one because you have to fight Aaron's Triceratops. Finally, when you get past all of the lands, you need to beat the Prime Spinosaurus using your own spinosaurus. You will earn a great skill that you can use. This game was fun, but be careful because dinosaurs are on the rampage !
