I bought a box of Khypermedia DVD-R media last November during a promotion where they were essentially free after the mail-in rebate. I probably wouldn't have risked this brand under other circumstances, but I was very pleasantly surprised. They worked perfectly on my Panasonic burner. Not a coaster in the lot!

I bought a 25-pack of these from OfficeDepot, burned them all, and I didn't have a single coaster. All of the disks burned at 4x, as advertised. Shiny Ritek G04, which were supposed to burn at 4x, burned only at 2x. Talk about false advertisement.
My DVD-R drive is Toshiba SD-R5112 aka Mad Dog Dominator.
