Unconfortable [Posted on 2007-04-01] It is not confortable to use. The combination keys are so close each other that is difficult to use.
Not a bad laptop lock [Posted on 2007-04-10] Some confusion in the color coding in the instructions but once you are past that it is a very solid lock.
Secure but .. [Posted on 2007-08-15] This locker is good but very loose I mean my notebook or LCD monitor are not tight.
Kensington 64344 Laptop Combination Lock [Posted on 2007-08-30] This is a great device for securing your laptop to anything you can wrap the cord around. Amazing mechanism... I don't know how it works but who cares!! I never feel like my laptop is hanging out there for the taking anymore. I highly recommend this to anyone with a modern laptop. In case you do not know (I didn't until my friend told me about this), EVERY laptop made these days comes with a patented Kensington "lock hole" (for lack of the proper term) and this is the lock that fits it. Just look on the side or back of your laptop for a small vertical rectangular hole that seemingly does nothing. Some laptops have a little lock icon inscribed next to the hole.
Could be a good lock, not compatible with my notebook [Posted on 2007-09-19] While it seems to be a pretty decent lock, and I'd imagine it would work well with another notebook, it doesn't work on mine. I have a Dell Latitude D630 and the lock just slips out when I try to lock it. I contacted Kensington about it, and they sent me an "adapter kit," which mainly involves super-gluing this piece of plastic onto my laptop. I didn't super-glue it on. Anyway, I'd try and check to see if the lock is compatible with your computer before you purchase it or any computer lock.
