What a pain [Posted on 2006-05-08] Cursor doesn't always move when I move the mouse. Cursor sometimes zips across the screen with little or no movement of the mouse. Sometimes the left click stops working. This happens even when my batteries are fully charged (and they're charged individually, not in pairs, so they're both fully charged). My guess is radio interference, but don't really know. Whatever it is, I'm heading out today to buy another mouse. I've had it with this one. :(
One of the worst [Posted on 2007-04-25] This mouse is one of the worst I've owned. Every now and then it just stops. I can hit the sync buttons all day, unplug the mouse, remove the batteries, etc and....... nada. It just stops working and then starts back up minutes or hours later.
I've only been using it for a month and it's done it more times than I can count.
I will not buy another Kensington mouse. This one is going in the trash and I'm heading out to the store.
Not powerful enough [Posted on 2007-08-23] This mouse does not transmit as far as it should. Try something else if you need more than 3 feet.
Feels great [Posted on 2008-01-15] Wow. A lot of unhappy people here.
It's always hard to chose a mouse. You stand int he store and try to play with their demos that are secured to the counter and are usually at the wrong height. ugh.
But this mouse felt comfortable in my hands, as did others. But this model has rubber ribbing on both sides, which turned out to be a great feature. So many times you end up squeezing the mouse with your outer fingers, or pressing down with your palm in order to grip the mouse to move it around the table. With these rubber fins, you grab the mouse with almost no effort - making it much more comfortable to hold for 8 hour stretches...
I also have had some of the wireless issues the other reviewers saw. The mouse does need to be closer to the receiver than it should have to be. It does 'sleep' too quickly, and I have to shack it or click to wake it up. Something a wireless mouse shouldn't have to do. But the comfort of this mouse far outweighs the wireless hiccups. After 3 years one of the buttons is starting to give out, and I'm looking to replace it with the same model, I'm so happy with it.
Avoid this mouse [Posted on 2008-09-17] Beside all the drawbacks listed by others, i found that this mouse consumes energy too much. With two AA battery 500mah, you can only use mouse in maximum in one and half week for average use.
