PocketMouse LE exceeds expectations [Posted on 2007-01-04] The Kensington 72218 PocketMouse Limited Edition (LE) USB Mouse (PC/Mac)is one of the few things that has exceeded the expectations I had when I bought it. I bought it to use it with a laptop and it works great! It exceeds my expectations in how well it works on just about any surface. For instance, I am particularly surprised at how accurately it works on soft surfaces like the bed spread and the couch cushions. The retractable cord is neat, functional and has been more durable than I expected considering all the abuse it gets from my family and me. We have been using it for about a year now and it works as well as new and the retractale cord is still retracting. I was initially concerned that I might not like the small size because I have larger than average hands but I actually like it just as well as a conventionally sized mouse.
If you don't need a cordless mouse, I heartily recommend the Kensington PocketMouse LE!
Great Mouse [Posted on 2007-07-21] I purchased one of these a few years ago, and loved the feel, the expanded DPI movement, and the accuracy. When I needed a new mouse for work, I bought and tried three mice before I decided to try this mouse which I had at home. It was just what I looking for, and I could only find more on Amazon. Since I will want to use this one for a long time to come, I bought two of them so I wouldn't run into this the next time I looked.
It sucks! [Posted on 2008-06-16] I wish I could rate it as zero star.
For no reason at all, it just stopped working after 13 months.
I am wondering if that's why they only been given 12 months of warranty.
Also, the paint started to come off on the first day.
A piece of junk!!!
Best portable mouse [Posted on 2008-08-25] This is hands-down the best portable mouse I've ever tried. I bought it about three years ago and it still works perfectly and looks great. It is so small it easily slips into my laptop bag's outer sleeve and yet is large enough to grasp confidently.
If you haven't used the kind of cord roll-up device that this mouse uses (with a small reel in the middle of the cord), then you should be sure to pull both *ends* (i.e. the mouse and the USB plug) and not one end and the reel if you want to to close up properly.
