Great compact package, lots of memory [Posted on 2008-06-18] I am very pleased with the small size and retractable connector on this unit, especially given the large capacity and low price. It works as it's supposed to and I use it on Macs with no problems.
Recommended if you need the capacity!
just what i need [Posted on 2008-06-27] You get what you see. Nice that it locks in position when you open it. Also, it has an LED you don't notice from the pic.
Great Bargain for Many Needs [Posted on 2008-07-04] Pros:
* Loving the capless design for travel
* BIG ol' value!
* Available backed by Amazon, whose return policy makes me willing to try out most anything
Cons:
* Slower `n beans...though not molasses in January.
* Works with Vista, but not Vista ReadyBoost compatible
* Aesthetically, feels light, label is a loose plastic stick-on, slider button is stiff yet so far reliable
* Doesn't resemble Scarlett Johansson even on the coldest nights.
Fits the bill nicely for my wife--who allowed me to buy it SOLELY because of the lack of S.J. resemblance--who backs up her memoirs onto it. Sold at a price that can't be beat for the capacity and trustworthy brand name that comes with it. I recommend it strongly unless you need to move huge amounts of files on and off regularly.
Great for the price [Posted on 2008-08-06] Works perfectly - a great buy for the price. My only complaint is that the retracting mechanism feels pretty cheap. It doesn't slide that well. It's a minor inconvenience, but worth noting.
Kingston Data Traveler 100 4GB [Posted on 2008-08-18] The absolute nicest thing about this drive: no cap! I *hate* caps on USB drives. I am constantly misplacing them. No cap; no misplacing. Why don't more companies make the capless variety? Other than that, it is a pretty much standard USB drive. No fancy extra stuff like U3 that just gets in my way.
