I am using this component with an AMD X2 dual processor on the Windows XP Professional OS, with a 250 GB hard drive. Now, I am able to run more than 1 program simultaneously, and the computer detects the amount of RAM as 1.93 GB, not exactly 2 GB, but is close enough to described amount. I can view movies while running system optimization programs (such as Spybot) and at the same time also load web pages too. Not bad for the price.

Once again, ANTonline proved to be the best choice for my purchase. Shipped quickly, product arrived in excellent shape. But DANG, folks! The USPS couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper sack! 8 days to get from you to me!

And a tip for anyone installing RAM: I had 512/1GB/512/1GB config. I removed two sticks and installed the two 1GB sticks I ordered... no joy. Still only showed 3GB total. Took me a day and a half to figure outI pulled the wrong sticks!!! Make sure, if you replace existing RAM, to pull out the right ones. LOL!
